Summer 2007 - Sacred Heart Slovak School Closed. Sacred Heart - Saint Johns is merged with St. Stanislaus Kostka to form The Catholic Community of North Wilkes-Barre. Perhaps the Church will be closed. Most of the masses take place at St. Stanislaus Kostka, a good Polish Church, also a fixture in the North End.

These Terra-Cotta panel were from the Intl Ladies Garment Workers Building that was about 20 yards down the street across from the CYC. These panels have been tastefully installed in the State's new Labor and Industry building.
