West Nanticoke Bridge
On one of the first warm days of spring, The West Nanticoke Bridge shines in the bright sunlight. It has a neat trusswork.
PRR Trestle, in Distance
Looking through the trusses, we see the old Pensy Trestle crossing the mighty Susquehanna. According to some old maps, the PRR intechanged with the DL&W Bloomsburg line in West Nanticoke.
Slowly these beautiful steel truss bridges are being replaced by deck bridges.
