Here are some shots of the Elm Street Bridge in Scranton, before replacement... closed the next day.
It had structural problems ... they had Jersey Barriers to keep trafic off the sides of the bridge.
I wonder if you will be able to get to the Trailhead. The bridge will be closed for about a year.
