Here are the last views of the Twin Shaft breaker foundations on a drive-by of the Pittston Junction.   The trees and brush were removed, land graded for future expansion due to the Marcellus Shale Gas Drilling.

The Reading and Northern may build an office here in the future.

As of June all traces of the Twin Shaft Breaker have been removed.

Tidbit : 


In the DL&W Scranton Station, 
now the Radisson,there are about
20 ceramic tile work mosaics around 
the main concourse of the building. 
The tile work pictures were supposed to
represent locations on the railroad.
