Pine Ridge Demolition, Mine Tracks |

Pine Ridge CollieryFound these shots of the Pine Ridge Colliery Demolition. The only remaining bulding in Spring of 2004 was the Wash House - used as a garage for Coal Trucks in the 1980s. This shot looks like it is either the mine entrance or something to load the mine cars. This is the roof. Some of the sheet metal is missing. You can see a pulley here and there - this is what the miners used to hang thier clothes on. Do not know what this is - some sort of compartment, maybe a boiler or furnace area. Following shots show some light rail I guess used by mine cars.
Hmmm. This looks like a little turntable. The old wash house.
