Went to St Joes in Jenkins Twp, to got to the Mass for the victims of the Knox Mine Disaster. I got my wires crossed and got there at 10:00, when the mass was at 9:00. Its the last mass in this Church as it is set to close. This Church was called the Pennies From Heaven Church because the old Polish Priest collected pennies to rebuild it.
Went up to the Lithuanian Chruch - St. Marys. They were also praying for the miners. (This Church is also set to close.)
I wanted to go down to the river, but I could not find a place to patk and it was very cold. I took a ride to the old Pittston Hospital that overlooks the general area of the Disaster.
