Fast forward to 2022 and the 2010 shots are almost pristine compared to current views. Most of the buildings are covered inside and out with spray can graffiti.

The site is well known now because of the Internet and Social Media.

Here are some shots of the Concrete City. It was getting cold at Sunset. Some of the buildings are starting to settle. At one time there was a plan to restore one of the buildings, but given the current economy, that isn't going to happen.

From newspaper articles, the parcel has been sold to Nanticoke and Hanover Twp.

It is pretty strange looking at these houses. According to the Taber book about the DL&W, the courtyard was filled with childern, vegatable gardens, and a wading pool. The residents took great pride in thier homes and kept them in great shape and did extensive landscaping.

A short distance away on Front Street, you can see the old store fronts and vacant buildings. Many of these buildings were rooming house and taverns.

A lot of history here.
