Was up at Nay Aug Park. The Underground Miners (UGM) are working to restore the Brooks Model Mine.
I remember when I was young, the Mine was open. You could go in just a little ways. There were mining tools on the wall. There was a fake mule.
A mine car blocked the way...it was done up to look like a mine shaft. It was a neat educational exhibit. Where the tunnel diverged, a miner statue was digging coal.
