Here are some mine buildings just outside of Shamokin, PA on Rt 61.
The gray building was supposed to be a Wash House for the miners. The Black buiding was a fan house or exahust fan. The building with the red, rusting metal panels may have been a machine shop.
These buidlings were associated with the Glen Burn Colliery. These shots were taken mid 2000s.
