Riverwalk Trail, O&W Abutment, Carbondale, PA

So the other day I was doing photography of Historcal Markers and buildings in Carbondale.    I saw this red and yellow writing on what I thought was a building.  

Walked down to it and discovered it was the start of the Riverwalk Trail.  The artwork was on a former O&W  Bridge abutment.   It actually looks pretty cool.  A steam locomotive on one side ... an coal miner on the other.  

A sign says the D&H Gravity Railroad Plane No. 1 started just east of there.  

Across the river was the D&H Railroad Yard.   The smoke stack, near the old D&H roundhouse is across the river from here.  

I wish i knew the trail was there.  Another time I will have to explore it.   This trail connects into the D&H and O&W Trails.
