Pittston Junction - 
Empty, just a large pile of ties.

Taylor Yard - 
Yeah, you guessed it, the same as other weekends - empty yard, 
power from the local laying over .

Also, this year CP Sunbury line will shut down for 3 days for Christmas and
3 days for New Years.

DL Units at Dusk

  • Several D-L Units are scattered around Steamtown and the State Office parking lot.
  • Often times D-L power lays over here

Radio Antenna on Times Building

  •  Antenna on Times Building becomes  largest Christmas tree for the Holiday Season.
  • Holiday Tradition that marks the Christmas Season for the Downtown merchants in Scranton. 

    This radio antenna has been decorated as a Christmas tree for about 30 years.  Always a staple of Christmas Decour in Scranton

  • Downtown Scranton has seen a revival with the Steamtown Mall, the Movie Theaters and Steamtown NHS.
  • In years past, Lackawanna Avenue was always a commercial district.
