Arrived at Taylor - 2 CP AC units by the yard office. It turns out they were taking on fuel.

Then they did something strange - the backed up to allow another Southbound to pass.

Some newer NS power with more white on the face of the locomotive for higher visibility. If they went with a white carbody and back lettering, that might even be better. I would guess that black is the cheapest paint to use though.

Everyone rags on the NS for thier paint scheme. May be it is time for a new corporate image and new paint.

I guess it is more important to get the trains on time that worry about the paint scheme.

Sometimes a fresh new look can be good. I kind of liked the CSX Dark Future - it reminded me of the D and H final scheme. A paint scheme can be simple, but elegant.
