Just looking back at these images .. there are not many trains running on the Sunbury Line. There used to be way more trains running back then.

Last night was up in Scranton about 9:00. Heard a horn to the south. I was on Lackawanna Ave. Took a few side streets and ended up in the Ukrainian Bingo parking lot off of 7th Ave. I had not been to that bingo since my grandmother was alive. This was were Steamtown used to board the trains for the first few seasons. To my dismay the white birch and locust trees had grown in obscuring the view of the tracks. A short way up there was a clear spot. Used my videocamera and got these shots.
An Ex-CR, UP, NS and CP unit grinded upgrade with a long train.
