July 6, 2007 Remains of Nesquehoning Tower, as photographed from a Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway train. The tower is in poor shape. Lots of graffiti and no windows on it. At one point in time this was an important tower on the CNJ. Jim Thorpe was once a very busy yard. But it 2007 they are just vestiges of thier former selves.
Other views of the tower from the Rail Tours day show an empty roadbed instead of trackage that the R&N restored.
