Here are some shots of the former CNJ Nesquehoning Tower. The rail line next to it has been put back in service and a rail to trail now connects Downtown Jim Thorpe with the trail system at Lehigh Gorge State Park. The other, earlier shots I have from this had been taken from an Rail Tours trains in the late 1990s. The line was on the other side of the tower.

Tidbit :In the DL&W Scranton Station, now the Radisson,there are about 20 ceramic tile work mosaics around the main concourse of the building. The tile work pictures were supposed to represent locations on the railroad. |
