There is an old Crossing Tower near Providence Road in Scranton.
The track used to cut across the road at a diagonal.
This is near the Scranton Farmers Market. The area around the Farmers Market is all cinders. I am wondering if this was a rail yard or Coal Breaker at some time in the past.
This tower had a wooden, peaked roof put on it a few years back. I am not sure of its function. There is an electric meter on it.
Maybe it is used for the Traffic Signals.
