Ths was from the first year or two Steamtown was running train trips...  It must have been the late 1980's.  I remember I was still in College.  

This was on 9th Ave.  There used to be a Bingo there ... they also had flea markets on the weekend ... the building burnt down.  The loading platforms were made out of wood,  I guess they served the purpose. 

At this time the train ran up to the Kingsley Station and then went back to Scranton ... I think the locomotive ran aound the train and coupled on the back.  The Kingsley Station has been demolished.  

The photos were taken with a Kodak Disc Camera and I think the colors and tone of the film was pretty bland, not as good a 35 mm.
