Tank Cars Parked Along Wilkes-Barre Blvd.
A long, long string of tank cars was parked along Wilkes-Barre Blvd, the after about 2 weeks, vanished.
The Luzerne-Susquehanna, like most railroads, offers its siding space for storage of surplus cars.
This was former D&H trackage. Wilkes-Barre Bld. was the D&H mainline. The existing trackage (not show) behind it was the former Lehigh Valley Passenger Main.
Over the years the trackage has change, and what the cars are on now serves this warehouse.
