This is what remains at the old D&H Yards at Carbondale - a smokestack that has cellular phone equimpent on it and a business park.
At one time this was a huge yard for the D&H, but that was way before my time.
The Roundhouse is gone as is the Colliery.
A nicely restored building with the old time signage painted in Black and White on the side of it. A Throwing Company was an old name for a Textile Works or Garment Plant.
Smoke Stack repurposed with Cellular Equipment.
