Is this the Route Of The Canonball or the Wilkes-Barre and Hazleton as it was also known ???
I finally got a fast digital camera, on that turns on and is ready to go in under a second, so I was able to get shots of this as I was going down I-81.
The first shot shows a small trestle.
The ROW seems to go along the base of the first pole and ends in some brush. A service road goes over the hill and follows the pole line.
Another concrete trestle.
I really do not go up to Hazleton much. I was coming back from Value City and Hazle Park Meats and the Laurel Mall after doing some Christmas shopping. Hazleton is really on the top of the mountain.
