Railfan Observation Post, Hudson, PA |
+ Larger Font | + Smaller Font September 29. 2013
I was riding my mountain bike in Hudson. I stopped to rest in the shade and started looking up at the old flood light tower in the old Hudson Yard. I thought - wow what a good railfan obervation post. You could see the tracks from up there. (Just kidding - it would be too dangerous to climb and too far from the main line.)
I would not want to be the guy that had to change those light bulbs. |

Tidbit :In the DL&W Scranton Station, now the Radisson, there are about 20 ceramic tile work mosaics around the main concourse of the building. The tile work pictures were supposed to represent locations on the railroad. |
