In the trees near the tracks in Hudson is a D&H Milepost. This was at the throat of the former Hudson Yard, When the foilage grows in, it is almost impossible to find.
There were also some lineside poles here and a trunk line ran along the poles under the cross arms. They had the common Hemmingray 42 insulators on them.
At one time this as a busy place that had trains being made up and departed the yard from here. We are down to one track now and a forlorn floodlight tower that in the past had a radio repeater station on it.
