Ah, this was one of the train trips that ran for Mahanoy City Community Day. The trips ran from the old Mahanoy City Station Site and when to Tamaqua Yard and back.
The trip wemt though the Buck Mountain Tunnel. Some of the fans and machinery used to vent the tunnel in Steam days still exists. It was a nice trip.
All along the main street there were Vendors selling food, drink, tee shirts, etc. it was a nice thing they had. I was happy to support the local merchants.
