Deep in the woods behind the Hollenback Golf Course, is the old spur to Carbon Sales. It has been out of service for years and is grown over. The railroad crossing across North Main Street in Wilkes-Barre has been pulled up too. It does not look good for this line. Carbon Sales gets it deliveries by truck now. Also the path I was on looks like it was tracks too, as there are ties on the side of the embankment.
