This overgrown patch used to be a road leading to Hudson Yard. The main parking area (a dirt lot) was down this road by the yard office. There was too much illegal dumping in the back so the current owners blocked it off

Tidbit : 


In the DL&W Scranton Station, 
now the Radisson,there are about
20 ceramic tile work mosaics around 
the main concourse of the building. 
The tile work pictures were supposed to
represent locations on the railroad.
