Here in the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre is a former CNJ siding. The building is the old Carter Rubber Company. At one time Carter Rubber operated 3 or 4 plants in Wilkes-Barre, making shoes.
There are still some rails there and the bumpers at the end of the rails. The loading docks are still there. The trackage that it connected to was abandoned in the early 80's are removed several years after that.
