Today they had an Iron Pour at the remains of the Lackawanna Iron Furnaces. They had a furnace and they melted and poured some iron. They also fitted a metal tire to a steam locomotive wheel. Another thing they did was put in some hot riviets.
It is neat to see that old furnace. Most people don't realize that Scranton had facilities that made Iron and Steel.
