10.10.98 stg10-10b I reload with some more Fujicolor Superia xtra and get shots of the steamer and 514 coupling up to the train. The steamer builds up some steam, and the Nickle Plate geep gives a few blasts of the horn and they are underway. I get shots of the train as it approaches the old DL and W concrete tower. On the back of the train is a car painted in the Lehigh Valley scheme. It says the Black Diamond on the back of it. It looks like a private car. It starts to rain again. I thought it wa clearing up but I was wrong. I don't think I am going to be able to ride my bike today, so I might as well see what is at Breck Street Breck Street - the D-L green Alco switcher was there as well as what looked to be the hulk of and RS-2 or 3 in primer. There were a lot of frieght cars there, and a passenger coach in a DL and W like scheme. |
