OK, this is an old Strip Mine area in Plains Pa, near the Susquehanna River. It was always called the Bluewaters ... in the 80's I recall the water to be blue. Today it looks greenish. Proably acid mine water and different minerals in the water making it change color. I have not been here since i was in High School. These strippings are very dangerous due to the steep drop offs. The waters can be very cold and have unseen currents.
